The Talon: Lamont and Margo go to an art auction where Lamont expects the Talon to strike. Margo plays a prominent role in this story as she does in many of them. The Shadow finds out what the Talon and the Hag are up to, but both crooks manage to escape.

Doc Savage in the Unseen Harpist: Doc Savage and Monk are investigating a guy that holds seances and claims to be able to contact spirits. The guy turns out to be a very dangerous fake.

Nick Carter-Seven Feet to Fortune: Nick runs across a murdered poet and a dishonest sheriff.

Chick Carter's Inner Circle (text): Chick tells his listeners another crime story.

Flatty Foote: Another of the supposedly comical stories.

The Shadow Meets the Woodahs: The governors of two states that have had trouble with bank robberies are meeting. Meanwhile a group of guys dressed up in black robes are pretending to be ghosts and scaring people away from someplace. Margo goes to the place (as is typical) and fortunately the Shadow had gone their first. The Wodahs meet their match.
