The City of Doom

This is a Shadow story where a previous villain is able to stage a return and fight the Shadow again. In this case it's the villain called the Voodoo Master, Dr. Mocquino. He seems to have really taken a strong dislike for a certain town because he's causing a whole serious of terrible accidents to happen by hypnotizing men and making them do the wrong thing at work.

The Shadow is using his identity as Henry Arnaud in this story. Harry Vincent has been captured. The Shadow and the Voodoo Master gets things on a very personal basis which, for the crooks, is never the smartest move to make.

There are individuals that are sort of zombies and loads and loads of thugs that meet their deaths at the hand of the Shadow. It's a good story with plenty of gunfire in it and a rather strange villain.
