The Shadow: Jibaro Death

The Shadow has faced a lot of criminals over time, but in this story he has to face some of the strangest yet - headhunters! The main villain is a guy named Zenjora and he has brought the headhunters to New York. The story is related to events going on in a South American country called Santander which has just seem major civil trouble.

Cardona is almost killed in this story. Shadow agents include Hawkeye, Moe, Clyde Burke, and Miles Crofton, a pilot.

The Shadow is tortured and nearly killed by the headhunters a number of times. It's a real wild story with Zenjora being a fairly powerful villain. The headhunters add a whole new dimension to the events.
