The Murder Master

The main crook in this story uses the radio to deliver messages about people he will kill. He gives such a short notice, though, that the police can't really get to the places the guy names in order to stop the potential victims from being killed.

What makes this crook ever more bold, though, is that he predicts the Shadow's own death. The Shadow encounters various traps. He receives help from a woman and ends up facing down the Murder Master. It's a good story with a surprise twist.
