Shadow Over Alcatraz

This story involves Kent Allard, kidnapped scientists, a fog that's not a fog, hidden ships, shelling and the entire Pacific Fleet of the time. Another crazy criminal thinks he can take over the entire world. He doesn't allow for the efforts of the Shadow to stop his insane plan. Lots of action and lots of warships which is something rather unusual for a Shadow novel.
