The Wealth Seeker January 15 1934

The story opens at Red Mikes, a gangster hideout. Cliff Marsland is there, along with Pug Hoffler, a crook. He plans to rob a guy named Doran who is a philanthropist.

Cliff calls Burbank and reports. Later, one of the crooks is revealed to be a stool pigeon, and the other crooks here the guy confess. A gunfight starts, and the Shadow shows up. It's a great barroom gunfight scene.

Lamont visits Satruff (who is really Dorand). Some crooks show up and try to hold up his safe, but a gunbattle ensues. One of the crooks seems about to say something important, and then he is shot.

Another Shadow agent, Harry Vincent, goes to work for Satruff for a while.

There's a second gang attack in which the Shadow shows up, and there's another major gunfight. There's a lot of background on two major crooks who are supposed to be feuding.

There is yet one more raid, but this is the final one as the crooks are taken care of, and the boss crook of all is revealed – and killed.

It's another good Shadow story.
