The Black Falcon

Rowdy is a major thug who, unfortunately for him, doesn't live very long in the story, killed by the Shadow right away.

The main villain is The Black Falcon who wears a mask and leaves behind a dyed falcon feather. Couldn't he have called himself The Black Crow or something? Then he wouldn't have had to go to the bother of dying a falcon feather.

This villain has the idea of kidnapping really wealthy people and hold them prisoners until he feels he has enough to start charging ransom. He even abducts Lamont!

Still, his plans go wrong and he, too, becomes another thug defeated by The Shadow. It's actually a good story, by the way.
