Lingo

This is a rather unusual Shadow story in that instead of fighting one or a set of specific crooks the story centers around the various crooks fighting amongst themselves, all to see who will be the top ruler of the group.
Jericho makes one of his infrequent appearances. Clyde Burke and Harry Vincent are also involved in the story. Part of it takes place in Chinatown.
One of the main crooks is Lingo Queed who wants to be the top man but finds that the position comes with a lot of peril. It's basically 'king of the mountain' among the members of the various mobs.
The Shadow does some really scary stuff way on top of a building. He's also really good in playing various crooks against each other. It's a good story helped even more by it's being so unusual.
