The Vision of Death, June 6, 1954

This is another review of a script. The main characters include Susan Randolph, 22, heir to the Randolph fortune; Edward Randolph; her uncle, 50; Victoria Randolph, her grandmother, and Luther Webb, a gardener.

Susan talks to Luther, and it's established that he has visions of the future that come true, including deaths in the family.

Susan has called Lamont and he and Margot are on their way. The grandmother's dog was poisoned that morning, according to Luther.

On the way to get flowers, Luther almost cause an accident for Lamont and Margot in their car. Susan has a talk with her grandmother who says everyone is waiting for her to die and get money.

Her grandmother is obviously paranoid, maybe somewhat senile.

Susan tells Lamont Luther gets $20,000 upon her grandmother's death. Her grandmother falls down the stairs and dies, or that is at least what it seems to be, although Lamont thinks she was dead before she fell down the stairs.

Edward orders Lamont, Margot and Susan all out of the house. The Shadow arranges to talk to Luther. Edward then shows up to talk to Luther. Edward confesses to killing the grandmother and the grandfather, both. Edward has a gun and threatens to kill Luther and the Shadow.

The next section is a recap of what happened after that; Luther went to the police and told them everything about what he had seen. I assume Edward was disarmed by the Shadow and captured by the police. Some of these radio shows tend to do a recap of what happened rather than say what actually happened. I suppose it's done to save time, but it diminishes the show, in my opinion.
