Shadow Serial part 7: Where Horror Awaits
Margo crawls out of the elevator shaft. She does a lot of screaming, but she also kicked one of the crooks pretty good and pushed another one down. The Shadow comes to her rescue.
The Shadow fights two crooks.
Another crook shows up. Margo and the Shadow exit via a window.
A crook in a stolen cab picks up two of the guys from the Cobalt Club.
They get a message from the Black Tiger about the two men he had kidnapped. The message also says he's after Lamont.
Crooks come after Harry, probably thinking he's Lamont.
Crooks force Lamont into a cab.
Lamont uses some kind of sleeping powder to put the two crooks in the back to sleep, and when the driver stops, he uses it on him too.
The crooks have Harry.
They put Harry into one room, and they have the two men from the Cobalt Club in another (although there's a window in their room. Why haven't they tried to escape that way?)
The crooks are told to bring the prisoners to the Black Tiger's place, and to destroy the warehouse.
The Shadow gets the crooks to chase him, and tells Harry to find the two other men and get them out of there.
The Shadow gets into a fight with a bunch of crooks. He uses all the bullets in his gun. (This is one fairly major difference between these episodes and the pulps. In the pulps, the Shadow carries two guns that are very powerful, and he's a deadly shot. In a situation like this, it's probable that all of the crooks in the room would end up dead.)
Acid is leaking onto the floor, and a lamp has been turned over. The crooks flee, saying the stuff will explode.
And it explodes.
They always have the Black Tiger giving a preview of what is going to happen in the next episode.
