In this story series there are seven brothers who are into a whole lot of crime areas, a bunch of lunatics who end up helping them and one lunatic in particular who thinks he takes his orders from 'Red,' and then equates 'Red' with the Shadow.
There’s a whole lot of killing that goes on in this series with the Shadow killing crooks right and left and gradually eliminating the brothers one by one.
It’s hard to decide if the series is actually good, or if it’s so bad that it’s actually good. I don’t picture the Shadow going around killing people quite as cold-bloodedly as he does in this series. His agents, many of them, are rather laughable. His two sons are almost totally useless in his fight against crime. Good or bad, it’s interesting, anyhow.
