This takes place a few years after the end of the regular series and Gaby is still having problems thinking of herself as a male. I find this odd since it seems that in the regular series she had adjusted rather well to being a fully-functional female.

She's working as a waitress part time. It's three years after Claudia's death.

There's another costume party. Andrea is four and Julies is getting married to Boris. Bernie is also pregnant again.

Before Gaby will agree to marry Max he has to agree to no sex before the wedding, giving her time to finish her education and waiting until after the Olympics (which she will presumably be in.)
