Wunderkind

The book opens with one of the young people on the team kicked off for assault. Drew makes the GB team which will be going to Italy for training, going to Switzerland and also going to Denmark.

During the time in Italy something happens and Drew seriously considers simply taking off and returning home. It's serious enough that he considers suicide. An Italian guy helps him out and this starts an interesting relationship between the two.

Drew again has an accident, does a like of biking and has to consider just how much he will tell the other members of the team about his condition.
