This is where the physical problems Drew has had become settled and Gaby is born as a fully-functional female.

Before that, though, there's a race where he/she gets up close and personal with a pond.Amanda wins a race and there's more photos taken by the sponsors. There's also a shopping trip to Kyoto and a fitting for a dress for a wedding that Drew/Gaby didn't even know about.

Gaby even ends up being dressed as a geisha and her friends don't even recogonize her.

Then there's the surgery and the idea that if the doctor tells you to take it easy after surgery that's what you are supposed to do, not assume you're all fine and engage in another bicycle race. Gaby learns this the hard way.

After that is over then she has to deal with a wedding rehearsal, a bachlorette party and the actual wedding. A lot going on for her. Yet another good book in the series.
