Gilgamesh series

Issue 1

The issue contains two stories: Revenge if the Gorgons and Theft of the Young Lovelies. The first story Xena and Gabrielle talk about King Perseus who supposedly killed Medusa and two other gorgons. Hercules and another person are in a fight with a giant and Xena finds an interesting way to get him out of the way.

More gorgons attack. Gilgamesh shows up but he turns out not to be a very nice person.

The second story is about Samoneus is running a finishing school where some of the girls have disappeared. Gabrielle gets added to that number.

Xena, #2 of 2 The Plant of Never-Death part 2

Gilgamesh and Xena are attacked by mutated centaurs. He tells Xena about a friend he once had that died. The event made him realize that he, too, could one day die. He found a guy that had survived The Flood and told Gligaesh about the flower that prevents death.

They encounter a giant serpent and a being on it who happens to be a ferryman. They end up finding the plant but there's a bit of a problem. It needs blood to make it blossom and Gilgamesh plans to feed it Xena's blood.

Gilgamesh changes his mind. They are attacked by monsters and Joxer is there. Big deal. Anyhow they get a dying plant, get back to Gabrielle, arrange for her to be turned back to living flesh, get the spear out of her and then Gilgamesh uses the plant to heal her.

The second story is The Theft of Young Lovlies, part 2. . It turns out young beautiful women are kidnapped and there's insiders behind some of it. Gabrielle is dressed very fancily and put up for auction.

The next part is in Xena number 0 which to me kinda doesn't make much sense. You have issue 1, issue 2 and then issue 0?
