Xena and the Original Olympics, 1 of 3

Xena helps a boy who is being bullied. There's a kid who is willing to be killed in trying to take anotehr kids sandals. This is a thing that has actually happened when 'special' gym shoes have been released. It turns out these are being produced in a sweat shop by young boys. The sandals have Samson's name on it which is what makes them so desired. Some thugs are the one running the place. The working conditions are really, really bad, reflecting actual factory working conditions in old time England and in the United States.

Salmoneus is tied in to all of this, which is not surprising. Joxer shows up. Delilah is Samson's agent. Xena wants this all to stop but is refused. (It's profitable, of course.)Arthur Pendragon (King Arthur, eventually) shows up and helps her.

Although the Olympics are going on women are not allowed to compete.

Xena: The Original Olympics #2 of 3

The women's team has beautiful women on it and even some goddesses. Samson competes against Arthur and wins, but only by cheating. The thugs are back at the factory, running things. There's an even bigger monster that Xena has to defeat.

It's Samson vs. Arthur in a foot race and Samon cheats yet again. There's an art pinup of Xena. A traitor to the team sabotages the food and the women get ill. A good talk from Xena gets them going again.

Meanwhile, there's a major competition about whether the stadium for the men's games or the stadium for the women's games will get the most visitors. Then, reaching a low point of cheating, Samson dresses up as a woman so he can compete in the women's games.

A minotaur attacks Xena. Samson, in women's clothing, is still winning events. Samson's hair ends up being cut off and things change. There's an artwork pinup of Xena. The thugs at the factor are again dealt with.

Arthur defeats another monster. Samson finds out his lucrative sandal business is over due to his Olympic games debacle. He's angry and he brings down the house. Literally. He doesn't get killed, though. Xena kisses Arthur on the cheek and there's a very funny ending involving Samson and Salmoneus.
