Hypnotic Sphere, episode 2

This is another story of the type of a villain wanting to take over the universe. The villain resembles a creature from an episode of Star Trek, some years later.

Another planet.

A type of spaceship that lifts off moments later.

They spot a different spaceship.

Steve and the Professor are going to check out the spaceship, which is an Earth refueler.

The ship is powered down. They enter the control room and find someone. Venus says the guy is in a “hypnotic coma” when they get him back to the XL-5. The rest of the tanker's crew is missing.

The XL-5 and the other ship in the process of landing.

The alien ship. Several tankers have gone missing recently and the XL-5 links up with another one to follow it's path and see what is happening.

It hypnotizes everyone on board and tells the ships to change course.

Back on the alien planet. The tanker has changed course but Robert keeps the XL-5 on its original course (with difficulty).

The villain (which resembles the things from Gamesters of Triskelion.)

If Robert keeps the course as it is, though, the ship will collide with a “planet of fire.”

The villain wants to rule the universe with his hypnotic spheres.

The XL-5 covers all its windows so the light can get into the ship to hypnotize them, and it shuts off its electronics so the hypnotic voice can't be heard, and they get close to landing before uncovering the windows. They see more of the hypnotic spheres being readied.

The creature starts to hypnotize them.

They destroy the heating system so the building will become cold and kill the creature. Then they get back onto the XL-5.
