Dead Beautiful

This is a really good book about Renee Winters, a girl who finds her parents in a forest, both of them dead with gauze stuffed in their mouths. The verdict is heart attacks for both of them at exactly the same time. She ends up living with her grandfather who wants to send her to the Gottfried Academy, a boarding school.

The school seems to have loads of rules, very strange classes, and some even stranger students. She's attracted to one in particular, Dante Berlin.

Things go wrong, though, as a student is found dead of a heart attack. Renee begins to be suspicious and she does the best job she can trying to research the school and find out whatever she can. Gradually she comes to the conclusion that the death of her parents, and the death at school are related. There were even other students that died in the recent past, adding even more to the mystery, and there's yet another death in the present time.

Then there's the weird thing that even though Dante seems to be attracted to Renee, he won't kiss her. Things get even more complicated for her and the school, though.

So, a boyfriend who doesn't want to kiss her, dead parents and dead students, a flooded basement, strange teachers and even stranger subjects, all these add up to a majorly interesting book. It's the kind that you want to keep reading and not actually put down.

The ending brings closure to all the events. A definite must read.
