Felicity's New Sister

Felicity is having to grow up faster than she wants, having to take care of younger children while her mother is expecting another baby. Through an act of selfishness, Felicity and her mother end up in danger, trapped by a major rainstorm and taking refuge in an abandoned building.

The situation worsens when her mother starts to have her baby and Felicity needs to brave the storm and a carriage partly covered by water to get some materials needed to help her mother in childbirth.

As is usual in the series, there is a historical section, this one covering babies being born in Colonial times and items that would be made for the babies.

As with all the other books in the series, this one is interesting and carries a strong moral message.
