Gettysburg: The Graphic Novel

When I picked up this book I wasn't sure whether it was going to be good or not, but I glanced through it and decided to get it. I'm glad as did, as it is a very-well done graphic novel.

It covers the battle itself, but it also covers what happened after the battle, including the establishment of a national cemetery, Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, and how the United States has advanced in civil rights, although people had to fight in their own way to get those advancements made.

It also includes explanations of various panels and it includes a separate printing of the Gettysburg Address.
