Kirsten and the New Girl

This short story is about a new girl at the school and how Kirsten reacts at first, being jealous of all the attention the girl gets. Soon after, though, Kirsten finds out that things are not going as smoothly for the girl as her outward appearance seems to indicate, and she is able to help the new girl and overcome her own jealousy.

The historical section is about the types of things that two girls would give each other if they were friends, and has instructions on how to make a Friendship Pillow.
