Possessions

Lindsay had a nervous breakdown and is now attending Marlwood Academy. There is, as usual, a clique of not-so-nice girls, including Mandy and Lara. Kyoko joins the group. Julie is Lindsay's roommate.

Lindsay is attracted to the group even though they are not nice, apparently repeating a mistake she made in the past. She finds out the school had once been in insane asylum. She begins having experiences such as smelling smoke where isn't any, and maybe seeing ghosts.

The eyes of the girls in the group apparently can become entirely black, and some of their actions no longer seem to be normal at all. Lindsay has to find out what is going on while, at the same time, avoid being drawn into whatever situation the other girls have found themselves in.

It's a fairly interesting book.
