Sweet Valley High Soundtrack
Sweet Valley High Theme: I love the longer version of the SVH theme. The extra lyrics work nicely.
Lotion: I really don't like this song. Whenever I listen to the soundtrack I skip this cut.
Rose Colored Glasses: This song can be taken as a message about people who do not see things as they are; they prefer to see things as they want them to be. This can be either good or bad depending on the circumstances.
She's Got the Answers: This is a cute song although I'm not sure if it's about Lila, Jessica or both.
Not Myself Today: I like this one.
Alive: Not my favorite song. It's sort of strange.
Rest of My Life: This is an old-style ballad type of song. Very gentle, very pretty and very well sung.
My Jessica: Sort of a ballad-type but a little harder.
All to Myself: There is some very good guitar work on a lot of these songs, including this one. This is another ballad-type song. One of my favorite cuts on the soundtrack.
Secrets: Sort of a heavy-metal type song which doesn't really seem to fit in with the rest of the album.
My World: I don't really like this song. It's too repetitive.
On Our Own: Acoustic guitar merging into a rock-and-roll beat. Good words.
She Walks in Roses: Rap, and not that good. This is another cut I skip.
Sweet Valley High Theme: TV version.
