Hero, episode 10

A man is accused of assaulting a female reporter. He admits it at first, then changes his statement.

They talk to the reporter about the attack.

Kuryu decides not to prosecute the guy.

The woman is unhappy and a special group will now investigate Kuryu.

The committee doesn't like the way he is dressed.

The reporter is using her position in the press to heavily promote her attack on the Kuryu for not proecuting.

The woman is attacked again.

The threatening letter she received does not contain any fingerprints of the supposed attacker, though.

It turns out Kuryu was arrested in high school but not convicted, and the committee rules against him, that he should have prosecuted the man. The police, though, know that the guy, Kota, is not the one who attacked her, at least the second time, but they are backing the false story that he is guilty.The guy commits suicide. The chief talks to his higher-up about Kuryu's arrest, and it turns out that he was actually protecting a friend from being hurt.

The police still want her to hide the truth about Koto not being the actual attacker.

Kuryu has disappeared and the group in the office is worried he might kill himself since he felt responsible for Koto's suicide. Maiko spends all day looking for him.

They go to the scene of the first attack and surprise the reporter. Kuryu finds out that the reporter has not been telling the truth.

The reporter tells them everything and they confront the policeman about his lying.

The older guy is the bureau chief who has taken an interest in Kuryu's career.
