Hero, chapter 4

A headhunter is asking if one of the office people wants to quit their job and work for his client.

Maiko is at the morgue, examining a female murder victim.

Now they are going to interview the accused murderer of the woman.

Egami, the guy who likes Maiko, wants her to work with him instead of working with Kuryu and Kuryu say's he thinks it's a good idea. It also turns out that the guy he didn't want to prosecute at the hospital for the murder of the woman has now run away from the hospital.

The situation gets worse for Egami and the others. There is a possibility that, if things don't go well, Egami could be transferred out and everyone in the office would be expected to take a pay cut.

Kuryu is talking to a guy who skipped out of paying at a dinner who happens to have been near the scene of the murder of the girl in the morgue.

The police don't like the public prosecutors being involved in this case since the subject escaped as a result of Egami not ordering him to be arrested.

The one guy gets to look at the office that will be his if he goes to work for them.

Kuryu figures out where the murder weapon was hidden and the group catches the actual murderer.
