Hero episode 6

This man is accused of stabbing a policeman to death then running away. He admits his guilt but, as happens, he later withdraws his confession and claims he was taking the blame for someone else.

A guy that Maiko meets at a restaurant where Kuryu is asks her out and she goes, only to end up in a place that is busted by the police for illegal gambling.

The chief gets really made at her.

They start checking places to try to prove that the new suspect was in Tokyo instead of somewhere else where he claimed to be.

The rumors in the office about Maiko get wilder and soon the chief thinks she's involved in selling drugs at the place she was busted at earlier.

The chief has just told Maiko to kick her drug habit (which, of course, she doesn't have but everyone now thinks she does.)

She gets back into the nightclub but finds that whatever was in her package is now gone. Meanwhile, Kuryu has found the evidence he needs against the killer.

It turns out that Kuryu had her necklace from the package (no idea how he got hold of it), and it's supposed to be the kind of necklace that, if you wear it, you will get a boyfriend (which is why Maiko is so embarassed.)
