Hero, episode 9

A statue head is on a collison course with Maiko.

Kuryu is talking to another wife claiming her husband assaulted her with a "chopper."

A guy sets off a smoke bomb in the office and starts tearing things up. He does a good bit of damage and runs away.

The prosecutors are trying to compile a list of people they had prosecuted who might want revenge.

Maiko has to use an old pair of glasses since hers were destroyed by the vandal.

They are worried someone might poison their food.

It turns out his wife is playing around on him while he plays around on her.

Somebody puts a bomb in Maiko's briefcase. Kuryu takes it and throws it outside before it can explode. It looks like the guy might be after her specifically.

She goes to Kuryu's apartment to stay the night.

They talk about what is going on.

Kuryu is out investigating. Later the police catch Smokey, the guy who put the smoke grenade in the pizza box and trashed the office, but Kuryu finds out he's not the one after Maiko.

The would-be killer is a woman.
