Beautiful Life

This is an excellent, although sad, drama series about a young woman, Kyoko, confined to a wheelchair by her illness. Shuji is the male lead, a hair-stylist that becomes attracted to Kyoko. A great part of the series is, of course, the efforts these two make to develop a relationship despite her own physical problems.

Then there is also Masao, Kyoko's brother, who for a good while is extremely hostile towards Shjui. Shuji's life is further complicated by politics at the salon he works at.

All the characters in the series are well done. The series is without doubt one of the better dorama series done and quite definitely worth watching.
