Long Vacation: Episode 1

The episode opens with a woman in a traditional wedding kimono running along the streets with everyone staring at her as she runs. She goes to an apartment and basically forces her way in, saying she is looking for someone named Asakara.

Minami

She searches through Sena's apartment, then finally tells him that she and Asakara were due to be married in 30 minutes. Sena finds a note that Asakara to Minami (the woman in the wedding kimono) and it says the wedding is off, that he found someone younger.

Sena

She leaves, and later the meet on the street. She lies to him about getting married, but later tells him what really happened and she ends up moving in with him (he's somewhat of a pushover). She moves in lots of furniture and clothes, but the apartment is big enough for both of them.

Sena had graduated from college but failed to get into graduate school. He's a piano teacher at a small school.

Minami has a friend named Momoko, and the two of them go to a photo shot for a commercial. They are both models, but Minami is having problems finding employment since she is older. They go to Sena's apartment and he arrives, and Momoko flirting with him a little.

Later Sena and his former teacher talk and his teacher tells him that his playing lacks emotion, that he builds a wall between himself and his listeners. Sena happens also to be attracted to Ryoko, a sophomore girl at the college who also plays piano.

Minami and Sena are talking later and it turns out Sena failed his music competition. they end up having an argument. It turns out that is also the day of her birthday. She leaves the apartment but before she can get far away Sena plays "Happy Birthday To You" on the piano and she returns.
