Episode 11

Mikan grabs Ryousuke and holds on to him while Wataru and Koda are having coffee together. Ai is walking in the rain. Mikan finally wakes up and doesn't remember saying to Ryousuke that she loves him and he doesn't let on that she did.

Mikan still ends up running out of the apartment but finds Ai huddled nearby. She takes Ai to her place. Meanwhile Ryousuke resigns as a teacher. In a farewell address to his students he makes a wonderful speech about why a person should learn history. (He was a history teacher). Meanwhile, Wataru and Koda have stayed all night at the restaurant.

Koda talks to Wataru, telling him that e-mail is not enough of a communication. They decide to return to their homes after all. Midorikawa comes over to Ryousuke's apartment. Midorikawa tries to punch Ryousuke but ends up hitting the wall instead. He has come there to tell Ryousuke that Mikan is in love with him, but Ryousuke tells Midorikawa that he already knows.

Ai is still in Mikan's apartment. They talk about the fact that Mikan is in love with Ryousuke. Meanwhile Ryousuke goes to the library and runs into Shimura. They go to the beef-bowl place to eat. Mikan calls Ryousuke and asks him to come to her apartment. Ryousuke tells Ai that Shimura would still like to see her, but he doesn't think he's worthy of her.

Ryousuke and Mikan convince Ai to go and find Shimura. Meanwhile Ryousuke and Mikan talk. Mikan gets a call and they have to go to the hospital. Her mother asks Mikan to take her to the hotel she works at. They manage to sneak her mother out. Her mother talks about a lot of the good memories that she has.

Mikan finally tells Ryousuke that she loves him, and she's not drunk when she says it.

Midorikawa finds the place that will become his bakery. Wataru tells his parents that the next year he will go to college after all. Koda tells her husband that she feels she now has enough strength to get a divorce and live on her own.

Ryousuke's class comes to his apartment. They want him to return to teaching their class.

The next section takes place one month later. Ryousuke is back teaching his class. Ryousuke runs into Ai later and she's doing temp work. They are both going to Midorikawa's bakery. A woman who works at the bakery asks Midorikawa out that night to the movies. Shimura stops by the bakery; he's now a delivery man. Koda then shows up. Wataru arrives. He's studying to become a teacher. Ryousuke and Ai arrive after Shimura and Wataru have left.

Ai runs after Shimura to try and find him. Mikan then shows up at the bakery after Ryousuke and Ai have gone. She tells him she's been recruited by a different hotel in another area. Ai finally catches up with Shimura and gets in his delivery van. Ryousuke manages to catch Mikan before she gets on her airplane.
