Episode 7

Ai and Ryousuke are out looking for wedding materials, although she appears much more enthusiastic then he does. It also happens to be the hotel Mikan works at and Ryousuke sees her. Ai sees her also and tells her that she and Ryousuke are getting married. Wataru is trying to call "the stewardess" but Koda is not answering the phone.

Meanwhile a woman appears at Shimura's apartment. She's blackmailing him. So Shimura calls Ai in the middle of the night and says they should get married. She tells him she's marrying Ryousuke next month, though. He later says to her that he wonders if they really should marry. Mikan watches while Ai says bye to Ryousuke as he takes off for work.

Mikan and Midorikawa talk about Ryousuke's getting married to Ai. He tells her he really wanted to run a bakery and not a beef-bowl shop. Shimura shows up at Ryousuke's school to talk to him. Shimura tells Ryousuke that he can't make Ai happy. He says the marriage should be broken off.

Shimura gets down on his hands and knees. This is, as I pointed out in an earlier episode, a supreme way of asking forgiveness or something else. Shimura says he really needs Ai, that he's a weak man. Meanwhile, Mikan goes to the salon to talk to Ai. She doesn't tell her what she wants to, that she really is in love with Ryousuke. Later, Koda, Mikan and Ai go out for a drink. Koda complains a lot and Mikan finally tells her just to get a divorce if she is so unhappy. She says she doesn't have the courage to live along, though.

Meanwhile, Wataru goes to the beef-bowl shop and talks to his father. Koda ends up going there too (and she's slightly drunk). Then she suddenly notices that Wataru is also there. Waturu asks her to have her "sister" call him. Ryousuke tells Ai that Shimura came to his school today and talked to him. Ai tells him she doesn't care what Shimura wants, and that she got the blank marriage forms that day. He tells that father that he and Ai are getting married but the father doesn't seem to be the least bit interested.

At the Salon, Ai is working on a woman who is the one who is blackmailing Shimura. The woman tells Ai that Shimura is lying about something really big, but she won't tell Ai what it is. Once again Ai lets herself into Ryousuke's apartment

She also has fun pretending. She also helps herself to some things from the refrigerator. Meanwhile, Ai goes to talk to Shimura. He explains to her that, when he was in college, he had a friend who wanted to be a writer. His friend was killed in an accident, and Shimura took a novel the guy wrote and published it as if he had written it himself. She leaves.

When she gets back to the apartment, Mikan is still there. She drank an entire six-pack herself. Ai realizes that it was Mikan who cleaned his car and his apartment, and that Ryousuke is the one Mikan is in love with. Later, Ryousuke and Ai decide to get married the next day. Koda calls Wataru and tells him that she has been deceiving him.

The next day Shimura calls Ai and tells her he's going to reveal his secret on TV. Ryousuke then calls and tells her they can be married in a half hour at the Town Hall. Ryousuke goes there, but Ai heads to the TV studio.
