Good Luck, episode 4

There's a major hotel fire in China.

The government wants to get an emergency charter flight there to pick up wounded Japanese.

The one woman is asked if she'll be the lead of the CA's on the charter flight and afterwards if she's willing to take on a new job training others and no longer be flying (the implied thing is that she's getting older).

The plane is picked and the mechanics start working on it. The plane is also going to have to be modified somewhat inside with beds added and other things done to set it up for the wounded.

Shinka is told to report to crew affairs and finally locates the office, then is told that he will be the co-pilot on the emergency flight. It turns out he was recommended by the captain of the flight who happens to be Capt. Koda.

A meeting is held to discuss the flight.

Shinkai and Ogawa discuss Capt. Koda with her taking his side.

I know I've said this before, but I'll say it again; the video techniques used in this drama are extremely well done and with an excellent matching musical score.

Shinkai asks Koda why he chose him and Koda basically says that he wanted a person with only so-so abilities who wouldn't feel any great pressure to succeed.

Shinkai tries to talk the one woman into not leaving to accept the teaching job.

Later Ogawa sees that Shinkai is at the restaurant so she decides to stop there also.

She turns down the promotion.
