Seigi no Mikata, episode 1

Youko is 15, and has an older sister named Makiko.

The older sister, Makiko, grown-up.

Youko, the younger sister.

Makiko's room at their home.

Their parents. I think the place looks really neat. It's also obvious that the parents are always praising Makiko, and criticizing Youko. It's also obvious the husband is henpecked.

Yoko admits no molester has ever hit on her. (It's a common thing for molesters to try to feel up women on trains, etc.)

Makiko's boss is made at her.

She goes right after him.

The other woman really doesn't like Makiko.

Different sections of the episode are given different titles.

She's always had trouble with her older sister. The parents always talk about Makiko positively, and always say bad things about Yoko, always comparing her to her older sister.

She's getting interested in a guy at work.

He can feel her looking at him.

There's a hilarious scene at a restaurant where Makiko orders by the page.

There's a hair in the food and Makiko goes ballistic.

More comedy material.

A convenience story. Notice the large number of magazines and paperbacks. There's also Pocky on one of the shelves. The Japanese read a lot more than Americans do.

She's running to get to a restaurant that sells bento, but only a limited number of them starting at noon. (This girl is REALLY into food.) A guy comes along and takes the last bento, which should have been hers. She gets mad; he calls her a hag; she calls the police to cause him trouble, and gives Youko's name as the caller.

She ends up buying herself two bento elsewhere, then taking them to the cafeteria where she works.

No one believes Youko when she tells about the things her sister does.

He's gotten a stun gun for Youko. It's for dealing with the problem of molesters that have been in the neighborhood. One followed Youko just that day.

Makiko's taken the stun gun.

Youko was supposed to get a bento for Makiko, but this guy bought the last one, the same guy that Makiko is interested in.

She's being followed yet again.

He grabs Youko.

It's Makiko to the rescue (out of concern for her food, though, not for her sister.)

She hugs the bento.

The guy was actually an arsonist (and was the one who cut in line and took the bento Makiko was hoping for earlier.)

She gets an award from the police department.
