The Menace of Japan (1917)

Title Page.

Table of Contents.

The 'great question' of the Pacific.

The U.S. did not understand what was going on in Manchuria.

The book is monumentally boring. Instead of clearly coming out with specific reasons why Japan is a menace, it presents chapter after chapter about economic conditions and obscure treaties that blur into one giant blob of confusion.

Even from a historical basis I find the book boring.
