Impounded People

This is a very detailed work about the interment camps. The prejudice issue is covered first, and then the process of moving in followed by the sorting of the internees. Next follows a chapter about life in the camps and then one the process of moving out of the camps.

This sounds pretty usual material but the strength of the book is in the great detail found in it. The book is also old, dated 1969, and just again verifies something I have found in my researches. Quite often the older the book the more and the better detail will be found in it then in one of the newer books.

This is one of the books that a person just needs to buy rather than to have me list here some of the high points of the book. There is simply a LOT of information in this one and it's a must-get for anyone doing research on this topic.
