WW2 Kamikazes, further clips

Another actual clip

There's no narration for the video at all, so I'll have to add stuff on my own. This shows the fate of the majority of kamikaze planes; they were shot down before they were able to hit anything. Still, with the number of kamikaze planes used, enough managed to make it through and hit their targets to cause a good deal of damage to naval ships.

A Japanese bomber is shot down.

Hits were scored and the damage was extensive if a ship was hit. The kamikaze plane had its own explosive on it, but when that would go off it would also set off any planes on the ship or caused munitions on the ship to explode.

A near miss.

What's left of a kamikaze plane spirals towards the ocean, totally out of control. (The clip also included inexplicably some material on US planes returning to their carriers and crashing, and a section on tanks and flamethrowers.)
