Page 1: Today. This is a column about various war-related news. Project director Nash to speak over KGO; federation of citizens holds meet; center notes inventory day; blackout (power was lost temporarily due to damage from a brush fire); $24,000 paid to workers; rock masonry instruction; 2 dental clinics established for local residents; student committee discusses courses; judicial board suspends sentence (related to a different crime); evacuees must purchase licenses; physician, optometrist arrive; Tulelake's farm; Jerome center; national YW official visits in Manzanar.

Now this falls into the really odd grouping. The drama coach threatens the administrators with bodily harm. I guess he was being overly dramatic. (Yes, I can hear those groans out there).
