Burma Outpost

Men at a base keep watch for approaching Japanese bombers.

The video says the men volunteer to work at the outposts. They go as far as jeeps will take them, then they load their equipment onto elephants.

When they've gotten to the end of the trail, native bearers carry supplies the rest of the way. Some of them are headhunters.

Supplies are air-dropped to the men once the outpost has been set up.

The crates are taken off the parachutes and carried to the base.
