Hiroshima and the Atomic Bomb

The first chapter talks about the development of the atomic bomb. It also uses the justification relating to the number of U.S. casualties if Japan itself had been invaded.

The next chapter discusses Iwo Jima and Okinawa. The next chapter discusses the firebombing of Japan. The next chapter covers the invasion plans for Japan. The rest of the book covers the actual bombing and the surrender of Japan.

The book is for rather young readers. It's rather basic and quite obviously in favor of the use of the bomb. It also does not follow a really good order, especially in the latter chapters. There are other books on this subject for young readers better than this one.
