The Bombing of Hiroshima

A book for elementary school readers on the bombing of Hiroshima. It does a good job of examine what led up to the second World War, and then how the atomic bomb was developed and used on the two cities.

It also does examine somewhat the idea that the use of atomic bomb was in large part a political decision, to do something that would impress and perhaps frighten the Soviet Union.

The book has good information and a good selection of photos.
