The Naval Battle of the Philippines

U.S. Naval advancements against Japanese held islands.

The charts and drawings illustrate the progress of the battle. In the last illustration, the Japanese forces are approaching in a straight line and are getting crossfire from the American forces on their right and left.

Then some actual footage is used. A Japanese Zero is in flames in the center of the photo.

Another Japanese plane is shot down.

The carrier Princeton is bombed and ends up being sunk.

Several damaged planes are shown landing.
