The Spirit of '43

Donald has just been paid. The narrator says there are two personalities in each person getting paid, one being the thrifty, and the other is the spendthrift. The idea the film gives is that buying anything you don't need is supporting the Nazis.

Then the cartoon goes into how taxes help support the factories that are making things for the war effort. Most of the emphasis of the use of the weapons is against the Germans, although the Japanese get mentioned a little.

'Taxes will keep Democracy on the march' concludes the cartoon.
