World War II: 1946

This is an alternate history series where the war in Europe did not end as early as it did, and the war in the Far East also went on longer. The story is based on the possibility of the Nazis and the Japanese developing new weapons to use against the allies, along with some kind of failure with the atomic bomb project, thus necessitating an actual physical invasion of Japan itself.

The concept of the book is the premise that, if the war had gone on longer, the Germans and the Japanese would have been able to develop weapons projects that they were working on that would have given them a technological edge over the Allies.

The first scene is some American planes in a dogfight with a German fighter plane. That part is based on actual history, as the Germans had developed a jet fighter plane. It was not the best one, though, as it had considerable difficulty taking off, it could only stay airborne for a short time, and the landings were not the best, either.

The second story shows Hitler watching a German propaganda film about the Nazis having a space-capable craft. They don't, actually, but they feel they could get one working fairly soon. They have developed a type of super tank that looks like one of the Transformers, basically, and works with a human pilot on board.

The next story shows that the Germans want to devise some kind of peace treaty with the U.S. This will allow them to turn all their attention to the Russians who have been defeating the German troops.

The other stories in the book are sort of confusing.
