Trapped!

Military History Quarterly, Autumn 1991, volume 4 #1: This article is about a sailor that was trapped on board the Oklahoma during the attack on Pearl Harbor. The boat sunk and he was stuck with some others deep inside the boat. The hull turned over and the lights went out. Then the oxygen began to run out as the water level rose.

Fortunately a rescue team cut into the hull and was able to make an opening big enough for the men to escape. The story is a very exciting one to read.
