The announcement is made (top left article), that Maude Adams has become a professor of Drama. at Stephen's College. At the time the arrangement was for only a few months. The second article is from a woman's perspective and is very, very glowing about what Maude Adams is doing to help the younger generation. The third article notes she will be paid $5000 per month.

The article on the left, row 2, is especially interesting in that it ties her retirement in directly to the death of Charles Frohman, difficulty running the company after his death, and her poor health. The last two articles say that her production of "Chantecler" was very well received.
