For the play She, I found the following written information, although it is the only source anywhere in which I found a reference to Maude Adams being in the play.

"(referring to William A. Brady): ‘Sure', said Brady, in talking with me of those early days as he so frequently did during twenty-odd years, "Warfield worked for me. I gave him his first engagement on the stage in New York, and Maude Adams worked for me, too. She danced in my dramatization of Rider Haggard's She at the Alcazar Theater on San Francisco's O'Farrell Street. I think I paid her the magnificent salary of six dollars a week.
