Finding Holy Spirit Mother

The author says 'spirit' implies female and that after the 4th century things were changed so terms like 'mother' were removed from having anything to do with the term 'spirit.'

The author also says some females were leaders of churches on. Once the Church of Rome was established, though, females were no longer aloud to lead church services. The Council of Nantes even referred to women as 'souless beauty.' The author also refers to the Cathars having female priests and that around 100,000 Cathars were killed in a war carried on against them by the Church.

There's also reference to the Church burning books containing things they didn't agree with. (Many books of this nature refer to that being done, by the way.)

There's also an appendix, a bibliography and foot notes.

Basically this is another book that shows how the role of women in the Christian church was changed in a major way in order to reduce their power and importance.
