Random Thoughts

Spirit is incredibly vast, and takes on a multitude of forms that we can relate to.

Does that mean that all the gods and goddesses are separate, whole entities but are still part of spirit?

Yes. They are all beings that exist with their own individualities but are at the same time all part of Spirit. Spirit is so great it can be all those things at the same time. It's beyond our human ability to fully comprehend that.

If a god or goddess is a real one, they would not be jealous.

At different times of a person's life they will have different needs and interests and will be drawn to different gods/goddesses. That does not make the gods/goddesses jealous; they recognize you need different guidance at different times, and can relate to different individuals at different times.

Religion is not the same as Spirituality.

The gods/goddesses revealed themselves to different human beings in different cultures. Over time the original beliefs and revelations became changed and evolved into religions.

As soon as a religion becomes crystalized, it stops being a living religion.

Blood-thirsty, early gods were man-made (Aztec, for example). Politics and power are the stepping stones of man-made religion.

Religion should be simple.

Everybody should be able to experience Spirit at some level. Persons who have studied hard and long might perceive Spirit at a more complex level, but not necessarily a pure level. Children experience Spirit much easier because they haven't taught that they can't. They're closer to having been in the spirit world.

The material world and its concerns get in the way of people's ability to experience Spirit.

Doors are there to be broken through, as pinballs go through the little doors in the pinball machine, if you believe you can get through the doors.

It takes practice to keep the door open to the other side.
