The story of Adam and Eve is not universal.

According to some Native American tribes the first human created was a woman. This goes along with the Mitochondrial Eve theory.

In many cultures the first woman created was beautiful, they change the course of the world through their existence and their personalities can be seen in some women today.

The legend of Lilith goes back about 4000 years.

Her origins are in Babylonian myth. She was described as a winged being that preyed on pregnant women and babies.

In the 7th century her story changed to being Adam's first wife and she left Eden after she argued with Adam about who is on top during sex.
