Jess is still 16, and still trying to stay under the FBI radar as far as her gift goes. During the summer she's counselor at a summer camp for gifted kids. Although one of the kids recognizes her, she denies she is that same girl he thinks she is.
She's told about another missing kid and locates him, then a guy shows up at the camp and wants her help finding his missing daughter. Jess finds the girl has been taken and she manages to rescue her, but not without getting some other guy really angry at her.
So he's out for revenge against Jess who still has to worry about the FBI following her everywhere, her would-be boyfriend Rob, and a kid at the camp who has gone missing and could have drowned. There's a lot on her plate and it makes for a good read.
